You not only want your repair back to you quickly but you also want your repair right the first time and for it to last. Repairs and custom fishing rods start with quality components from a variety of manufacturers. Repairs will not be performed with inferior or non-matching components. If your favorite fishing rod has all Fuji Gold Hardloy Boat Guides, I will not replace a broken one with a gold PacBay Boat Guide — it just won’t look right and function correctly. I will only replace a guide or tip with a matching guide or tip. If I don’t have your guide/tip in stock (most of the time I do), I will order it from one of many rod building supply companies that I work with to have it within a couple of days — Work done right and completed when promised.
I stock tips/guides/reel seats/corks/EVA foam grips/rod blanks/thread/etc. from the major manufacturers. I also stock a variety of vintage rod components so I may be able to repair your sentimental fishing rod back to its original glory. Call me and I can see what we can do.
