A Fishing Family

Charles has been an avid Fisherman for the past 45 years starting with pond fishing as a young boy in upstate New York progressing through Trout fishing when living in Pennsylvania to Trolling for Trophy Striped Bass from his center console in the Chesapeake Bay at least three days a week.  Whether from shore, boat, kayak, fresh water, saltwater, or surf fishing, Charles and his son Christopher have fished many conditions, many species, many different bodies of water, and with various off-the-shelf and custom tackle combinations.

With this in mind, every item repaired or custom-built by Forest Lake Rod Crafters is from the perspective of an avid fisherman so you can be guaranteed it will work for you the first time and every time — everything that I build I use.

P.S. Thanks to my dad who introduced me to fishing at such an early age.  I, in turn, introduced fishing to my son and daughter at the very early age of 3 who both went on shortly thereafter to each win a local youth fishing tournament for their age group.
